Speculation has been widespread this summer regarding Adam Idah and a permanent switch to Celtic.
The striker, who spent the second half of last term on loan at Parkhead, remains a Norwich player, but the latest developments in the saga have been intriguing, to say the least.

Whether it was deliberate or not, the 23-year-old missed a flight with his teammates out to Austria for a pre-season friendly.
Overnight reports in Scotland have since stated that a permanent move to Glasgow for Idah could be fast-tracked, but Norwich journalist Paddy Davitt has this morning provided a sobering update on the situation.
On X, he claims that the Canaries’ stance on a move remains unchanged; Idah will stay put unless any side meets their valuation of the striker. Davitt went on to state that currently, there are no indications that a deal between Norwich and the Hoops is in the final stages, despite what some reports are suggesting.
With a month to go in the transfer window, Celtic fans are becoming growingly restless about the club’s business.
Supporters are frustrated that Idah hasn’t been brought in long-term yet, with other positions in Brendan Rodgers’ squad also needing to be strengthened.
Time will tell whether the manager is backed the way he should be.
