One man’s name who was brought up this morning is Allan Campbell. There is a snobbery when it comes to signing SPFL players by a lot of Celtic fans. Probably the same Hoops supporters who get annoyed when EPL fans talk down Celtic players.

The Motherwell player is free to sign with a new club this summer.

For me, Celtic need a contingent of SPFL based players this summer to help reboot the club. We can’t just go for all foreign exports and hope they settle in quickly.

Signing the best talent from other clubs in the league is surely a no-brainer and Campbell would not be an expensive outlay in terms of wages.
