Celtic winger Nicolas Kuhn has been nominated for UEFA’s Champions League Player of the Week award following his stunning performance versus RB Leipzig on Tuesday evening.
The Hoops ran riot against the Bundesliga outfit, coming away deserved 3-1 victors on a memorable evening at Parkhead.
Despite going a goal down early on, the Bhoys remained calm, and Kuhn turned things around before the break.

The German, playing against his old academy side, drew Celtic level with a delightful dink which kissed the post as it went in.
Then, just before the break, the 24-year-old popped up in the box to sweep the ball home from close range and put the hosts ahead right on the half-time whistle.
Kuhn’s opener was nominated for UEFA’s Goal of the Week, and his performance has now seen him put up for the Player award.
Up against Sporting CP and Liverpool’s duo of hat-trick heroes Victor Gyokeres and Luis Diaz, along with Karim Konate of Salzburg, Kuhn is in esteemed company.
Celtic fans can cast their vote for the winger up until 2pm today.
With his incredible form this season, Kuhn is more than putting himself on the map. His turnaround since the start of the campaign has been nothing short of remarkable, and that is no more coherent than in his nomination for the Player of the Week award in Europe’s premier club competition.
