Nicolas Kuhn’s performance against Hibs was a reward for the effectiveness of Celtic’s pressing game on Sunday.

The goal, a result of Kuhn’s high-pressure play forcing a mistake from the Hibs goalkeeper, might not have been the prettiest, but it credits the tactical discipline Rodgers has instilled in his team.

Celtic were a lot quicker off the ball and were really fierce in their pressing, it was great to see and it was a real step up in performances that we saw last season.

Kuhn has really come onto a game this season, with two goals and an assist in the league, with just two games played. With a goal and assist in the league cup, he’s setting himself up for what could be a great season numbers-wise.
