Nicolas Kuhn scored his first goal for Celtic since February on Celtic’s title-clinching day at Tannadice and the winger has now set his sights on completing a domestic Treble.

Kuhn and Maeda combined beautifully once again as the Japanese forward supplied two assists for the German, helping Kuhn reach the 20-goal mark for the season in the 5-0 dismantling of Dundee United. It’s a partnership that has flourished throughout the campaign.
The former Bayern Munich youngster played a key role in sealing the Premiership crown, but his focus has already turned to adding more silverware, with Celtic eyeing a sixth Treble in nine seasons.
“Really happy. I think it was a brilliant season already. Now we’re going to try to keep winning and focus on the Cup,” Kuhn said on Celtic TV. “The last two games already we showed a great reaction and we just kept going and scored a lot of nice goals.”
Kuhn, who bagged a hat-trick against Aberdeen in the League Cup semi-final at Hampden earlier in the season — a feat matched by Maeda on the same night — believes that Celtic are well placed to finish the job.
“Last year, when I came, we won two trophies. Another Cup this year and, hopefully at the end of the season, we have the Treble. That’s the goal.”
The treble is firmly on for Celtic, and it’s becoming the norm for the club. If Celtic do see out Aberdeen in May, it will be a ninth treble for the club, with six of them coming since Brendan Rodgers first joined the Hoops in 2016. And to top things off, the manager is “200%” staying for next season where he’ll hopefully be defending a treble.
