Celtic winger Nicolas Kuhn has opened up about his growing partnership with Jota and Daizen Maeda, with the trio beginning to form a formidable attack for the Hoops in recent months.

When asked ‘We have to talk about another winger in the squad, Jota. How have you found linking up with him? I know the fans were really excited to see you in one wing, Jota on the other, and the excitement that you both bring to the pitch.’
Kuhn said: (Celtic TV), “Yes, I think game by game it’s getting better. The connection is going to start to grow, and I think you saw already the last games, all three of us had some impact, so hopefully we can keep going like this until the end of the season.”
With Maeda leading the attack in the form of his life, Kuhn also praised the Japanese forward’s contribution.
He said: “Really good, I think in his new role as a striker he’s doing a fantastic job. He’s always there, and great to play with him,” he said.
Celtic’s push for the Scottish Premiership title continues this weekend with a crucial game against St Johnstone, and Kuhn emphasised the Hoops’ determination to stay focused.
He said: “The focus is like every other game before as well, it’s just to get the three points, and game by game we have to step up and show our qualities.”

With just seven league games remaining, a win on Sunday would take Celtic another step closer to securing a 55th league title. Kuhn has played a huge role this season, impressing in the first six months of the season. While his form dipped slightly after the new year, last weekend’s match against Hearts saw him back to his creative best, delivering pinpoint through balls and dangerous crosses. His ability to provide a consistent attacking threat, regardless of form, makes him a vital player for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
