Celtic winger Nicolas Kuhn has been deservedly named as the ‘star man’ in the latest SPFL Team of the Week.

It comes after the German made a stunning impact off the bench for the Hoops in their recent 5-2 win over Falkirk in the Scottish League Cup.
The Bhoys trailed by two goals to one when Kuhn was introduced with half an hour to go.
The 24-year-old came on and changed the game, setting up Adam Idah for the equaliser.
Seconds later, straight from the restart, he then effectively pressed Sean Mackie to win the ball back high up the pitch and square it to the big Irish striker, who duly put the Celts ahead.
Kuhn then got in on the act, chipping Bairns ‘keeper Nicky Hogarth after being played through on goal by Arne Engels.
He got his second with six minutes to go, sweeping into the bottom right-corner from range to add some gloss to the scoreline.
As a result of his standout performance in his side’s 5-2 triumph, Kuhn was selected as the star man in the latest SPFL Team of the Week:

This season, the attacker, who joined the Hoops in January from Rapid Vienna, has been reborn.
Kuhn is as important to Celtic now as he is effective for his team.
It remains early days in the 2024/25 campaign, but the attacker has arguably been Brendan Rodgers’ best player throughout it so far.
