Nicolas Kuhn has openly expressed his excitement at the prospect of Paulo Bernardo returning to Celtic this summer.

The German winger, who joined Celtic in January, formed a close bond with Bernardo during their time together at the club.
It’s been reported over the past few days that Celtic and Benfica are in advanced discussions over the sale of the player. A fee of £4.2 million has been agreed on, and the negotiations now focus on a potential sell-on clause.
Kuhn shared his thoughts on the ongoing transfer rumours surrounding Bernardo.
“I was quite close with Paulo also, so I would be happy if he comes back. And he’s a great player. I think in the cup final he had also a special moment, so it would be great to have him back,” Kuhn told Celtic TV.
Bernardo’s potential return has been a hot topic among Celtic fans, especially given his impressive performances last season in both domestic and European competitions, where he was clearly trusted by Brendan Rodgers on the elite stage. However, negotiations appear to be complex, with Bernardo’s salary demands a significant hurdle.
At 22 years old, Bernardo has demonstrated his capability to perform at a high level for Celtic, making any move to secure his services a popular decision among the fanbase. As discussions continue, Kuhn and the Celtic supporters remain hopeful that an agreement can be reached to bring the talented midfielder back to Paradise.
