NICOLA STURGEON has let everyone know there will be a major update on the path forward this afternoon and how we can gain some semblance of ‘normal’ in the coming months.

We have been living with restrictions for a long time now in our every day lives.
Scottish football fans have been locked out of the game since March 2020, as the new season approaches, we can only hope there’s good news on the attendance front.
We know in the grand scheme of things getting to a football match isn’t nearly as important as some of the massive restrictions we’ve lived under. However, in a time where mental health issues are becoming more prevalent, getting to the football for many is a massive outlet.
It’s where we socialise, it’s where we go to forget whatever’s happening in our lives and watch our team play.
We’ve seen instances all across Europe of fans returning during EURO 2020, and Hampden has even had small numbers.
We have to be hopeful we’re not too far away from a reduced capacity Celtic Park.
📺 I will make a statement to @ScotParl today (c 2.20pm) setting out the vaccine milestones we hope to reach over the summer and, based on those, the path we hope to take out of Covid restrictions and back to greater normality in our day to day lives. Please tune in if you can.
