NICOLA STURGEON was asked about Celtic’s training camp at her daily weekday question and answer session during the pandemic.
Funnily enough, when other clubs have been involved in rule break, no journalist felt compelled to ask her a question – make of that what you will.
Away from that, Celtic have given snipers a very easy target to have a go at the club and now the First minister is imploring the football authorities to have a look at Celtic’s elite camp after images out there which see the club outside their own bubble.
.@NicolaSturgeon sturgeon on Celtic trip to Dubai: we gave SFA advice over elite training camps but not up to us to sign off travel plans. Question is the purpose of them being there. I’ve seen photographs. There may be questions around bubbles. There are things to be looked at.

If the SFA and SPFL come under any government pressure to postpone any Celtic games it could be even more catastrophic for this season. Boli Bolingoli was vilified for going abroad against the rules at the time and while this is within the rules, images show the club aren’t being as safe as you’d expect.

It’s just something which never needed to happen and the club have scored a massive own goal at a time when good will is in low numbers.
