Nicola Sturgeon Comments on Celtic’s Weekend Statement

NICOLA STURGEON says she has welcomed both Celtic and Rangers putting out a stay at home message at the weekend in anticipation of the Glasgow Derby on Sunday.

Gers fans put the game into major doubt thanks to their selfish and illegal actions, breaking a stay at home order and flouting social distancing and mask-wearing rules while some destroyed property.

It put Celtic into focus for some reason also, with the Ibrox board trying to drag the Hoops into their sorry state of affairs where they never once told their fans to go home and revelled with them.

Celtic replied with the famous viral tweet ‘we’re not half of anything’ – #OneClubSince1888.

Today, the first minister thanked both clubs for their message to fans.

Celtic have been taking extra precautions ahead of the game outsider Celtic park. They were keen to stress they need to protect their property after a city centre property owned by the club was vandalised last weekend.

Hopefully the game goes off without a hitch.
