RecordSport have reported in a bombshell report that ICT CEO Scott Gardiner was trying to shoehorn a null and void verdict into proceedings and was heavy handed in his approach with other clubs.
The move is baffling when the financial ramifications for Inverness would have seen them lose out in almost £200k.
This has come to light after Inverness claimed bullying had taken place during the proposal and they were willing to testify.
Brechin refutes those claims and now Record Sport has revealed Gardiner was not acting nun the best interests of his club.

The proposal voted through was to end the current seasons as it stands in the lower leagues having winners and losers — same for the Premiership if it comes to it.
Gardiner’s move being made public along with his media appearances paint a somewhat troubling picture of the whole scenario.
If you were a sceptic, what do you think Scott’s ultimate goal was?
Celtic are currently staying very quiet during all the noise and will be in the EGM call today as clubs vote to have an independent or not.
