New Low for Islam Feruz?

It’s safe to say things haven’t gone to plan for Islam Feruz since the budding young teenager and his representatives decided on a cash grab at Chelsea rather than continue his development at Celtic.

Since moving to Chelsea, Islam, now 23 has had SIX failed loan spells where he’s failed to convert a single senior goal and there’s absolutely no chance he’s making it at the London club at this point in proceedings. Islam has played for Krylia Sovetov, OFI Crete, Blackpool, Hibs, Mouscron and Swindon Town.

According to LaMeuse, amateur Belgian side RFC Seraing are ready to offer the young Somalian a way out of Chelsea at the end of the season when his lucrative deal comes to an end. It would see the player ply his trade in the THIRD division of Belgian football.

With not many clubs willing to take a chance on the 23-year-old his next move will be vital in his career,

Feruz has had some online social media spats with Celtic fans over the years who have had a go at him for leaving the club so early in his development. There were big things expected of the youngster at the club and fans caught a glimpse of the young lad when he played in a Tommy Burns tribute match at Celtic Park.

Celtic now have a youngster in Karamoko Dembele who is everything Celtic wanted Feruz to be; young, talented with a massive amount of potential. Luckily for Celtic, Karamoko and his reps remain humble and know his development is well served at Celtic Park.
