We all seen the state of the pitch during the two league cup semi final ties earlier this season. Even though the pitch had been recently relayed after the commonwealth games it was in embarrassing condition.

With the final coming up this Sunday the pitch has now been relayed to ensure both teams have the best conditions for a cup final to remember.

It has only been relayed this week which might be an issue as a new pitch usually needs time to settle. We will find out on Sunday if it has.
