New Derby Boss Makes Move For Celtic Winger – Reports

When last night’s team sheet came out in Romania for Celtic V Cluj, one of the first question Celtic fans asked was, why Scott Sinclair was not in the squad.

Neil Lennon later confirmed that Sinclair had been left behind in Glasgow and that there was some interest in the player. The manager said things would become clearer in 24 hours. There has not been much more about Scott until now when Football Insider has said Derby are looking to sign the Celtic winger.

Derby narrowly missed out on promotion to the EPL at the end of last season and they are looking to go one better this season with new manager Philip Cocu at the helm.

The Championship deadline is the same as the Premier League, it will close at 5 pm today. A lot of Celtic fans feel that Scotty still has a lot to offer and that he should not be sold. The player doesn’t seem to be as valued by Lennon as he was by Rodgers.
