Celtic’s most expensive defender has given a hint on his social media he will NOT be starting tonight’s game in Sarajevo. Christopher Jullien came into the a couple of weeks ago but has yet to pull on the Hoops.

With Jack Hendry not travelling with the squad the defender may find himself on the bench to cover Ajer and Jozo ahead of schedule but his Instagram post appears to suggest he’ll definitely not be starting.

Patience is the key for The Frenchman and it’s a great attitude to have. Jullien knows himself he hasn’t been brought in to simply sit on the bench and just needs to get up to speed.

There could be a very quick debut for Boli Mbombo though, with Neil Lennon’s newest signing being Celtic’s only recognised left back.

Kieran Tierney is still out recovering and rehabbing after double hernia surgery over the summer and the player may not be afforded the same time as Jullien to bed into the squad.
