The Celtic manager Neil Lennon has told supporters he’s not given up on strengthening his squad further ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline.
The window closes on October 5th at which point Celtic will know exactly what they’re working with for the first half of the season.

Speaking before their game against Sarajevo on Thursday night, The Celtic gaffer told CelticTV to expect movement over the weekend:
“It will goto the wire I’d imagine. We’ll probably see a lot of movement over the weekend.”
A lot of movement would suggest transfers heading out the way too.
The club are in the market for a left sided wing back but they could also move for targets in other areas of the pitch if a deal comes up.
The most important thing the club can do right now is make sure they keep a hold of their key talent; Odsonne Edouard has been linked with a move away but nothing has came of it and we hope that’s how it stays.
Celtic can book their place in the Europa League group stage with a win this evening.
