Former Celtic manager and captain Neil Lennon is preparing his Omonia Nicosia side to take on Manchester United in the Europa League.
Omonia made the group stages of the tournament having dispatched Belgian club Gent during the qualifying.
Manchester United were the glamour draw for Lennon’s side with the group also made up of Real Sociedad and FC Sheriff.
Omonia currently sit fourth in the Cypriot table after the first five games with Lennon placing an emphasis on the league as the club have the opportunity to qualify for the Champions League next season.
The match will be live on BT Sport 1 at 17.45 and there will be some former Celts in action.
One of Lennon’s regular first team starters is Welshman Adam Matthews who enjoyed a four year spell in Glasgow.
As well as that they also have former Celtic striker Gary Hooper who is yet to get up and running for the Cypriot side.
Manchester United come into this game after a 6-3 thrashing from rivals Manchester City at the weekend and will be looking to respond to the heavy defeat.
It is likely that stars such as Casemiro and Cristiano Ronald will start for The Reds but that won’t faze Lennon as he will be hoping to have a repeat of one of his famous nights in charge of the Hoops.
