Neil Lennon Set For European Parkhead Return

Former Celtic boss Neil Lennon will return to Parkhead for the first time since his sacking this evening as part of the BT Sport TV coverage for tonight’s game.

Lennon will return to Celtic Park in front of a packed home crowd alongside Paul Lambert as part of the pre and post-match reaction to the Europa League fixture with the Hoops set to take on Bayer Leverkusen.

The Northern Irishmen who left his role as manager back in February will be assessing Ange Postecoglou’s side, which is set to take on the German side in their opening home fixture of the group.

Of course, this news was met with somewhat of a mixed reaction. After the antics of the last campaign, not many Hoops supporters appear to be big fans of seeing Lennon return.

It will certainly be interesting to see some of the assessments that Lennon gives Postecoglou’s side, who at times have looked far and beyond the side of last season but are currently struggling a little for form. Some fans will definitely be watching closely, that’s for sure.
