Neil Lennon Reacts to Shocking Easter Road Flash Points

Neil Lennon was pragmatic after watching his side drop points against Hibs on Saturday.

The Celtic manager accepts his side were wasteful at times and not themselves and also gracious enough to know they can’t win every game but did make sure people knew Celtic had been denied not one but two penalties.

“We can’t win every match, we were a bit wasteful and lashed at a few chances at the end, but I thought we played well for most of the game, and we should have had two clear penalties, but you can’t win every game.” Lennon told The Athletic

Celtic dominated the game and should have got all three points. Hibs offered very little and done their best ti interrupt play and make it as scrappy as possible.

Bauer and Christie were both brought down in the box second half but Kevin Clancy inexplicably didn’t give either. The tackle on Bauer in clear view of the assistant and it’s 100% a penalty. Clancy waved play on much to Neil Lennon and Celtic supporters frustration.

We’re certain there will be more days like that this season.
