NEIL LENNON pulled up a member of the press on Monday afternoon when they positioned a question in such a negative way it didn’t deserve any response.
Instead of being positive about the position Celtic are currently enjoying in the League and the Cup, the journalist asked if it would be a failure now if Celtic didn’t land another treble.
Neil Lennon was not impressed. ‘That’s an awful question” the Celtic manager declared.

Of course, we know what the journalist was doing. Had Neil played along with the question and answered it in good faith, the headline would have been ‘Neil Lennon says anything but quadtreble is failure’.
In reality, one treble is hard to come by, Celtic are currently on three in a row and we’re being asked if we didn’t land a fourth, would it be seen as a failure.
This is the murky back water we live in though.
