Former Celtic manager Neil Lennon has made his return to punditry tonight a matter of weeks after departing the club.
As reported by Sun Sport, Lennon made his first appearance since leaving the club on BBC Radio 5 live as a co-commentator at Old Trafford for the last 16 Europa League tie between Manchester United and AC Milan.

The ex-boss left the club at the end of February after a disastrous campaign which has resulted in the Hoops officially losing the league title by the 7th of March.
Lennon’s Celtic side of course faced the Serie A side earlier in the competitions losing out twice in the Group Stages as AC Milan went on to top the group.
The Northern Irishman was also asked about Glasgow rivals, Rangers tie this evening against Slavia Prague. At first, he was asked about the prospect of facing Slavia in the group stages, which was obviously not correct as the Hoops faced off against their Czech city rivals Sparta.
However, Lennon went on to answer speaking about how good a side he thought they were, mixing the two up.

In a way, it just sums up both Lennon and Celtic’s year with a blunder like this.
With his return to co-commentary tonight, there is no doubt it will not be too long before we hear him speaking on Sky Sports.
