Neil Lennon Makes Major Comment Over His Celtic Future

NEIL LENNON does not sound like a man who is on his last legs at Celtic. If there’s plans to change the manager in the summer then nobody has told him.

After watching his side just scrape a win against Motherwell in the end on Saturday evening, the Hoops gaffer was asked about the criticism he’s faced from supporters and the pressure he’s been under.

The Irishman revealed he doesn’t take what’s happening among the fans personally and that he enjoys the sort of pressure in a strange way.

Neil then goes onto say he’s planning for three and four years down the line at the club speaking to the Daily Record.

“I’m happy with the way I have dealt with things and my conscience is clear about how I’ve gone about my work as well. It certainly galvanises me, yes. In a perverse kind of way I quite enjoy it.

“I don’t take it personally. I have evidence to back up what I’ve achieved in the game here. We haven’t been able to do that this season.

“I’m not running out on or giving up on my players. I believe we have a fine squad and it’s just not been our year.

“Hopefully that can change over the next one, two, three, four seasons going forward.”

There are many fans who believes tenure at the club has run its course and the club should be looking to bring in a new man as soon as possible.

The hierarchy at Celtic Park have remained silent on what they’re thinking but as they plan to ask fans dig deep in April and May for another season ticket which will likely be a TV Subscription, they had better start communicating.

Neil Lennon is clearly subscribing to the adverse conditions of this season as to why he and his team have lost ten in a row, there doesn’t seem to be any real personal accountability for what’s gone wrong, which is the most frustrating thing of all.
