Neil Lennon Makes Interesting Celtic Comments

NEIL LENNON is a name that many Celtic fans will be tired of hearing now. After he left Celtic in that disastrous season, he’s constantly been in and out of the press, despite looking to get into management.

He had a short spell in Cyprus, and he was sacked despite winning a cup that saw him lead Omonia in the second their of European football.

He returned to Scotland and has returned to talking to outlets, trying to keep his name relevant.

This time, he’s failed to rule out a return to the dugout at Celtic Park but has admitted it’s not a move that’s just around the corner.

As quoted by the Daily Record, Neil Lennon said:

“I’ve had a great privilege to manage Celtic over six years in two different stints, but at the minute, Ange Postecoglou is a great manager who is doing a great job. I’ll never say never to re-joining Celtic, but at the moment it’s a long way off.

“Ange Postecoglou does not need any advice at the moment with the job he’s doing. He’ll be looking at improving the team, performances and his own personal record. The football they play is spectacular, they have a great mentality as shown in the Old Firm where they got a goal out of nothing. I’d suggest to enjoy the big occasions.”

He’s deluded if he thinks Celtic would go from Ange Postecoglou to Neil Lennon. He’s had his time in the dugout, and he won’t get another chance. The only time he’ll be back in the Parkhead technical area is with the opposition if any side takes him on.

It’s just Neil Lennon saying bonkers stuff to keep his name out there, and fair play to him; he makes the headlines effortlessly.
