Neil Lennon has been out of work since the end of February since leaving Celtic.
It took a long time for the board to act and finally relieve Neil of his his duties.
The Irishman has done some media work but hasn’t been linked with getting back into management, until now.

The club, partially owned by Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes are looking for a new permanent manager of the League 2 club and the former Celtic manager’s name has apparently been mentioned. Gary Bowyer is in charge of the English side until the end of the season.
Neil Lennon had had success in Scotland with Hibernian and Celtic but those last two roles ended sour.
The former Celtic player’s stint at Bolton didn’t go well but the club was in a very bad financial place where the management went into their pockets to play their own players at one point.
Salford City would be a major step down for Lennon.
