Former Celtic manager Neil Lennon is reportedly amongst the early front runners linked with the managerial at English League One side Sunderland.
The ex-Premier League side are in the hunt for a new boss after sacking Lee Johnston last night due to the 6-0 loss against Bolton at the weekend.
Lennon, who has been out of work since departing Celtic last February, has been mentioned as one of the early contenders for the job alongside the likes of Grant McCann and Paul Cook, as he targets a return to management.

Last season was an extremely disappointing campaign for the Northern Irishman and his side, having lifted a treble the season before, which saw his time at Parkhead come to a close.
Of course, Lennon has also spent some time south of the border, where he was once manager at Bolton Wanderers between 2014-2016.
Currently, there are also some links to Celtic within the Sunderland side, with the likes of Patrick Roberts and Aiden McGeady amongst the playing staff.
It will certainly be interesting to see if this move was to come to fruition, having Lennon a return to management after a disappointing campaign with the Hoops last season.
