Neil Lennon Hints He’ll Drop New Bhoys for Cup Final

NEIL LENNON has told CelticTV this evening that he will likely start a different side for the Scottish Cup Final next Sunday, even though this team have two wins out of two.

The manager rang in the changes against Lille and it paid off, again Celtic won against Kilmarnock with the fringe players coming in.

However, they look as if they won’t be rewarded with a place in the Scottish Cup final with the Celtic manager confirming sentimentality over form.

Asked if this would be the side which starts against Hearts, Neil said:

“The hardcore that got us there deserve the opportunity to win it”

It almost certainly means Scott Brown will be in for Soro next week. While we love Scott Brown, he’s not done enough this season to warrant a start. On a sentimental level, of course, he should start but we shouldn’t be picking a team based on anything other than the very best players starting.

David Turnbull has to start next week, regardless of what Neil says here. The player’s influence in the middle of the park and set pieces have been a revelation.
