Asked about the thinking behind Brown’s substitution on Thursday, Neil Lennon was keen to stress it was the right move at the time and not indicative of anything else.
Speaking to Glasgow Live the Celtic boss said “We just thought it was the right thing to do at the right time. He is an amazing player with an amazing personality. It’s not any slight on him; we just thought it was the right thing to do.”
There’s virtually no chance the Celtic captain sits out the Aberdeen game, but it’ll be interesting to see if Tom Rogic has played himself into a start.
