Former Celtic captain and manager Neil Lennon has debunked the rumour he has a burner account on social media.
There has been an ongoing joke that an account called Siamese bhoy is the Irishman in disguise. The whole thing behind it has been the name of the account which is ‘Siamese bhoy’. A nod to the fact Neil has a Siamese cat.
The account has been at the wind up for quite some time and pushing out tweets that are pro-Neil Lennon.
Asked on Go Radio on Monday evening, Neil was forced to deny he is in social media but did confirm he has a Siamese cat.
Twitter can be a funny place and this particular account has fooled people in the past.
Neil Lennon was on social media years ago but as he said during the Go Radio football phone-in, he stays away from it now.
The Irishman’s part in the pandemic season has meant there are some hard feelings between himself and some of the support.
He has had two stints as Celtic manager and was speaking on Monday about Brendan Rodgers beginning his second stint at Celtic Park.
