It has been a hectic and emotional day for the Celtic support who have seen too many of their heroes walk into the sunset as of late.

One man who bucked that trend and turned down a big contract in Australia to stay at Celtic was Scott Brown.

The Celtic captain has seen many players come and go over the past 12 years but Kieran Tierney leaving will have certainly been a move that has affected the midfielder.

Earlier this evening, Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney paid tribute to his former captain, and now, Scott has replied.

Celtic are a whole team of defenders down this summer with Tierney’s departure.

With so much money coming in for the deal you would hope Neil Lennon will now be given some serious cash to spend.
