CELTIC fans are rarely in agreement but this is one of those times when most seem to be on board with a potential signing.

With Albian Ajeti coming in on a four-year deal, there’s no time to stop and smell the roses if you’re a Celtic supporter – there’s already a clamour to get a centre back in the door.

Reports overnight claims Celtic have entered the race to try and sign Republic of Ireland international Shane Duffy on loan for the season and the news has gone down really well with the majority of fans.

Duffy, 28, currently at Brighton, is looking for a move this summer after not featuring as much as he would’ve liked. There are a few clubs interested in the defender’s services and if Celtic are one of them, there’s hope the lad could try and push through a move and be part of the ten in a row season.
