FORMER CELTIC STRIKER Moussa Dembele is rivalling Chris Sutton for the biggest wind-up merchant to ever play for the Hoops.
After hearing Celtic’s Glasgow rivals have now been crowned the WORST ever team in Champions League history, Moussa took to social media to try and put it into context.

The Frenchman cheekily wrote people should cut Rangers some slack. After all, it was their ‘FIRST EVER’ Champions League campaign.
After all it was the first ever Champions League campaign in their history. Well done to them… 😑 #Since2012 https://t.co/T6EDI4HFn0 pic.twitter.com/vSStX0QdUV

If you’re around Scottish football, you will know exactly what Moussa is getting at.
Rangers became insolvent and liquidated in 2012. They had to register a new team and were given special dispensation to start again in the lower leagues.
Contrary to reality, many people in Scotland pretend it didn’t happen. Moussa’s dig was aimed at those who cling to that reality.
The Lyon striker was a constant thorn in the side of The Rangers during his time at Celtic. Scoring a hat-trick on his Glasgow Derby debut. There were many games described as ‘Dembelition jobs’.
