Moussa Dembele Sends Saturday Night Message to Former Celt

MOUSSA DEMBELE has thanked former Celtic striker turned pundit, Chris Sutton, for his kind words after Lyon made it to the semi-final of the Champions League.

On a night when the UK coverage of the game was heavily talking up Manchester City while bringing down Lyon, the French side gave the EPL a bloody nose and more specifically Moussa Dembele did the damage.

The former Celtic striker came off the bench in the second half to put two past City, something he managed to do for Celtic also.

Lyon knocked Pep’s men out of the competition and Moussa took to social media to have a laugh at the expense of anyone who wrote off him and his team.

Sutton congratulated the striker, the pair having a good relationship from Moussa’s time in Scotland, Moussa replied:

Sutton alluding to the fact no Premier league club had serious interest in Dembele while in Scotland because so many turn their nose up at our game. Their loss was Lyon’s gain.
