Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has made the astonishing claim that José Mourinho has been offered the chance to replace Brendan Rodgers as the new full time manager of Celtic.
There we’re just the usual internet rumours a few weeks ago with punters going big at the bookies with some of their far fetched theories but the report from Di Marzio appears to throw some gasoline on the fire.

It still seems very far fetched for Celtic to seek out a man who would demand top dollar both in his own wages and transfer budget.
Mourinho has been tipped to manage in the Bundesliga after being sacked by Manchester Utd earlier this season.
Di Marzio is a very credible source and it’s likely he knows Mourinho or people close to the Portuguese manager from his time at Inter Milan.
Neil Lennon is still favourite to take the job after securing 8 in a row on Saturday.
