Motherwell manager Michael Wimmer has spoken about the future of young star Lennon Miller. After Motherwell’s last game of the season, a 1-1 draw away at Ross County, Wimmer admitted the club may lose the 18-year-old this summer.
Miller has had a strong season and is seen as one of the best young talents in Scotland. He has played well almost every week, showing great skill and maturity for his age. Because of this, other clubs are now watching him closely.

He said: (Glasgow World), “I often get asked about Lennon, and I always give the same answer: I think if a club is smart, you try to get Lennon. He is 18 years old and he shows every weekend with his performances what qualities he has.
”I think he will go, but I won’t be sad if he is still here for pre-season. We have to prepare for both situations, and if we prepare for a situation without Lennon and in the end we have him, it will be a good problem to have, we prepare for both. We want quality, and we need quality, so I won’t be unhappy if he is still here.”

Celtic and a number of clubs have been linked with Miller. He fits the type of player the Hoops may look to sign – young, Scottish, and full of potential.
Fans will now wait to see what happens. Miller may stay a little longer, or he might make a big move this summer. Wimmer and Motherwell are getting ready for both outcomes. Either way, the teenager’s future looks bright, and it may not be long before he’s playing at a higher level like Celtic.
