It look on again, off again with his potential move to Celtic but the news broke earlier the Scottish Champions had walked away from the potential deal.
The club had waited long enough and decided to cut the chord.
Motherwell would have been holding their breath for another offer and they appear to have it this evening with newly promoted Norwich. The interest from Celtic has probably done the lad a favour and Norwich deciding to cut out the middle man between Celtic and a Premier League move.
Celtic did everything by the book and the player and his agent wanted more money. Turnbull will likely get that at Norwich and will join to former Celts in Teemu Pukki and Patrick Roberts.
Celtic will now press on with other targets.
