Morning Update: Kyogo Appears In Training & SPFL Set For Emergency Meeting

There will be a huge sigh of relief for Celtic fans this morning as Kyogo Furuhashi has appeared in training this morning at Lennoxtown.

The Japanese forward had to leave the pitch early on in the match after he sustained a shoulder injury.

With it being feared that he may miss out, the forward appeared shortly after the training session got underway this morning.

It was a real shame that he had to leave the game on Saturday so early but Giorgos Giakoumakis was a very able deputy when he came on and gave Goldson a torrid time.

We will find out later today after Ange Postecoglou’s press conference whether Kyogo will be available for tomorrow’s match against Real Madrid.

Elsewhere, the SPFL are set to hold emergency talks as a ÂŁ30 million a year TV deal with Sky Sports after Rangers did not provide a response on the new deal. [MAILSPORT]

It is clear that the Scottish football is undersold but failing to register a response holds the process up.

Clubs must push the SPFL board to seek a better deal than what is already being offered.

Many fans liked the idea of games being streamed via PPV with clubs benefiting off this financially.
