The defender had many fans excited after they got a quick glimpse of him in pre-season and didn’t fail to impress during his first start for the Hoops.

He was quality throughout the match, and despite not being tested defensively, he remained calm at the back and showed signs of a great centre-back.

He used his height effectively too, scoring a thundering header to put Celtic back in front of Ross County. It was clear how much the goal meant to him, celebrating with the fans in the stand behind the goals.
