Former Celtic loanee Moritz Jenz has expressed his openness to returning to Celtic Park in the future, following a memorable stint with the Scottish giants.

During his time at Celtic, Jenz had the opportunity to participate in significant matches, including the Glasgow Derby and a Champions League clash against Real Madrid, and he contributed to Celtic’s Premiership title success before his loan spell was cut short.
In an interview with Football Scotland, Jenz reflected on his brief but impactful time with Celtic, which ended in January after he fell out of the starting lineup due to the new signing of Yuki Kobayashi. Despite this, the defender cherished his experiences and expressed a longing to have been part of the trophy-lifting celebrations.
The possibility of a return seems to resonate not just with him but also with his family. “My wife said to me last time, ‘Can you imagine coming back to Celtic one time? Please!’ I said, ‘Why not? It would be very nice.'”
While currently committed to his new club, Wolfsburg, which he describes as ambitious and engaging in a significant project, Jenz remains fond of his days at Celtic. “I would never say no. You never know. Maybe later in my career would be nice,” he said, leaving the door open for a potential return to Celtic Park.
Jenz was a popular figure throughout his time at Celtic, and his loan being cut short for Yuki Kobayashi’s January signing certainly didn’t go as planned for the club.
