Celtic released a statement on Monday evening and we didn’t have to wait long for a response from some of the support who are flabbergasted by the continued inaction of the board.

Peter Lawwell backed Neil Lennon for the second time in a week after another disappointing result which has become all too familiar.

The fence Celtic set up outside the ground in recent days was hijacked by the Celtic support today as they attached messages of ‘sack the board’; these were promptly taken down.

However, tonight, more banners have emerged at Celtic Park.

Not only these but a banner has been ut up at Lennoxtown overnight which urges Neil Lennon to leave to ‘remain a legend’.

The whole thing has become a bit of a farce. Inaction by the board and a manager who can no longer get a response out of this team.

Other managers have been let go by less. We look to have blown the league and the board seem happy to wait this out and let Neil Lennon have the whole of December before revisiting the matter.
