Montreal React to Losing Top Star Alistair Johnston

ALISTAIR JOHNSTON’S now former side Montreal has posted a tribute to the player on the way out the door as he joins Celtic.

AJ was announced as a Celtic player on Saturday afternoon after a week of intense speculation while he was at the World Cup.

The deal has been done nearly a month out from the January window opening, showing the hunger for Celtic to go and get the players they want quickly so they can settle into life In Glasgow.

Johnston comes into the club knowing he has time to settle down. The 24-year-old can’t be registered until the beginning of January. The first game AJ will be eligible to play is the Glasgow Derby at Ibrox on January 2.
