On-loan Celtic winger Mikey Johnston has been nominated for the EFL Championship Fans’ Player of the Month for March.
He scored with a smart finish at the weekend but it is his form last month which saw him put up for the award alongside the likes of Ethan Ampadu, Leif Davis, Haji Wright, Josh Sargent, and Matthew Clarke.
Throughout March, Johnston registered five goal contributions in as many games. He stood out and continually does so for the Baggies as they make their push for promotion.

Currently, they occupy a play-off spot, sitting fifth in the Championship table. They remain six points clear of Coventry who languish in seventh, though, and have a game in hand.
England’s second tier is one of the most unpredictable divisions in the world. If West Brom eventually goes up to the Premier League, it will surely only serve to benefit Celtic.
Given his success in the Midlands so far, the Hawthorns side will likely want to keep hold of Johnston – who has seven goals in 13 appearances for the club – if they go up, and the Hoops could gain a pretty fee from such a move.
