MIKEY JOHNSTON is expected to leave Celtic on loan this summer, with Ange Postecoglou keen to get consistent minutes for the winger.
Mark Hendry of Football Scotland has reported that the player is assessing his options before making an exit from the club. There are a number of clubs willing to take Johnston on loan for the season, but it’s down to him what happens next.

The Celtic boss has spoken about how he views the player, admitting he does have talent but has yet to live up to his potential. Sending Johnston on loan will benefit the club and player; it will allow the player to build up some confidence on the pitch and show Parkhead bosses why he should have a place in the Celtic squad.
There’s undoubtedly a player there; he’s shown glimpses of it. But he’s been unable to show this over a number of games, with better quality players ahead of him in the pecking order.
