Mikey Johnston has expressed mixed feelings as his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion comes to an end.

Despite the disappointment of a play-off defeat, Johnston has had a significant impact during his time with the Baggies, following his move in January.
During his stint in the English Championship, Johnston scored seven goals in 20 appearances.
His contributions were crucial in securing West Brom a spot in the play-offs, although their promotion hopes were dashed following a 3-1 semi-final loss to Southampton.
Johnston’s future remains uncertain as he heads up the road to Glasgow. However, his performance has not gone unnoticed, with interest seemingly there from West Brom, and a host of other Championship clubs to take him on a permanent basis.
Brendan Rodgers is a huge fan of Mikey Johnston, so another chance at Celtic can’t be ruled out.
Reflecting on his time at West Brom, Johnston shared his sentiments via an Instagram post, stating, “I wish it could’ve finished differently but still such a happy period of my career. An amazing club with such good people. Thank you for everything @wba and to the fans for the unbelievable support you’ve given myself and the team all season.”
