Midfielder Heads for Parkhead Exit With More Set to Follow

CELTIC have followed up the sale of Erik Sviatchenko and Sam Wardrop by letting longtime Celtic developmental player Jamie Lindsay leave on a permanent deal to Ross County.

Brendan Rodgers seems to be getting rid of spaces in his first team as well as the developmental side to free up space for new and upcoming faces.

Lindsay had been on-loan to Ross County last season and made 32 appearances for the Staggies as they failed to beat the drop.

With the County side looking to bounce straight back to the Premiership, Jamie Lindsay will be part of the fight back.

This is further proof that there is no room for sentiment at Celtic as the coaching staff look to keep only the very best at the club. Lindsay had been in the Celtic system since 2012.

Lindsay, 22, had very little chance of breaking into the first team so the club would also feel a permanent move would be best for the player’s career.

Scott Allan could be the next man to head out of Celtic this summer with the player pushing for a move to Hibernian.
