After the clubs failed to agree on a future see and fears that the Ivory Coast man would not be granted a work permit came to light, the deal was called off.
However, there are still a number of other clubs interested in the player so a move out of Celtic can’t be ruled out just yet.

It’s not the first time this transfer window that Celtic have witnessed a move collapse because the financial package was a bit too ambitious.
It was clear that the £2 million paid for Soro would not be recouped, especially due to the fact that the midfielder is clearly not in Postecoglou’s plans.
Soro is still rough around the edges, he has some great qualities but still has a lot of development to do. With the quality Celtic have in the middle of the park, the Neil Lennon signing will struggle for game time – playing at another club would be more suitable.
