Greek striker Georgios Giakoumakis looks like he could be closing in on a move to Parkhead with reports suggesting that a medical has been booked.
Several reports, including one from InsideFutbol, claim that the 26-year old will undergo his medical in Paris on Sunday ahead of the proposed move to Celtic Park.

Boom! #Giakoumakis undergoes @CelticFC medical in France (Paris) on Sunday. The deal is almost done. Almost. He has accepted the offer of #CelticFC, It would be a big surprise if he will not sign to Scottish giants despite the interest of an Arab club. #Celtic @VVVVenlo #Venlo pic.twitter.com/362zuX85Of

In the last few weeks, there has been much speculation surrounding Giakoumakis, with the Hoops appearing to be in a two way battle with German side Werder Bremen also looking to secure his services.
With the VVV-Venlo frontman finishing top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie last season, despite his side getting relegated, you would imagine a few eyes would have been watching the striker.
However, now he is edging ever closer to a move to Glasgow, with Ange Postecoglou looking to further add to his attacking options.
Giakoumakis could also be a crucial late addition for the Hoops, with current striker Odsonne Edouard’s future at the club still unclear in the final few days of the window.
