According to Sky Sports, Maryan Shved is currently undergoing a medical which will see him complete his move to Celtic all going well.

The midfielder’s move to the club has been well documented with Brendan Rodgers admitting he was a find for the scouting team rather than someone he actually pursued.

We reported this morning the fee is set to be around £1.75million for the midfielder who will come into the club briefly so the club can assess him then he may be sent back out on loan before the window closes.

Celtic are rich in Maryan’s position but the thought seems to be Celtic should land the winger before anyone else tries to muscle in on the deal.

Once the medical is done, it’s believed that is the last formality of the deal before it can be announced. A signing to perhaps get excited about in the summer and not right now.
