Celtic aren’t through to the Europa League last 16 yet but if they do get their TalkSport pundit Ally McCoist is not clamouring for a European Glasgow Derby.
The former Ibrox manager wants to see his old club take on a Manchester Utd rather than see his familiar for in the next round.
Due to scheduling, The Rangers played on Wednesday night and beat Braga 1-0 to. Through 4-2 on aggregate.
Celtic have their chance to join them on Thursday evening but know they will have to guard against a shock which could see them falter at this stage.
If both Glasgow teams are in the last 16 pot, then there are no rules about clubs from the same league playing each other. There’s also no seedlings so anybody can be drawn against each other.
McCoist hopes they dodge the Scottish Champions if Celtic get past Copenhagen.
