Celtic attacker Luis Palma failed to hit the net from twelve yards twice within seconds on Saturday afternoon. He was not the only player to perform poorly in the match, though, with the team being booed by sections of the support at full-time despite winning.
It was a frustrating day for many, particularly Palma. George Wickens denied his initial effort, but he was adamant about taking the second spot-kick after the first was deemed deficient due to encroachment.

When he did take the second, however, Wickens was heroic once again but the Honduran winger opted to hit the ball in the same direction. This capped off a hugely disappointing afternoon for Palma.
Post-match, the 24-year-old posted an Instagram story of a picture of himself and Matt O’Riley. The midfielder replied to it with ‘contigo siempre’, which translates from Spanish to English as ‘with you always’:

A clear message of support from O’Riley for Palma, the Dane seems to have a good relationship with the former Aris Thessaloniki man off the pitch. Having such connections is hugely positive, and it only helps maintain good morale within the squad.
